Beatriz is a Women’s Health Physiotherapist & a
Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher with the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA).
Beatriz is passionate about
creating mindful, empowering Pilates lessons.
Beatriz is a board certified licensed Physical Therapist with 25 years of experience.
Beatriz completed her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy Degree in 1998 and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy Degree in 2001.
Beatriz specializes in Women’s Health Physiotherapy including pregnancy, postpartum, abdominal and pelvic floor, osteoporosis, scoliosis, and spinal deformities.
Beatriz is a Certified Romana's Pilates Instructor.
She completed a comprehensive classical Pilates certification program with Romana’s Pilates where she had the honor of training with
first generation Pilates instructor,
Romana Kryzanowska.
Beatriz was so inspired by The Pilates Method that she went on to complete a comprehensive Pilates for rehabilitation program with
Polestar Pilates.
Beatriz completed her training in Pelvic Floor and Pregnancy and Postpartum with The Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
Beatriz completed her training in Obstetrics Physical Therapy with the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy of the
American Physical Therapy Association.
Beatriz is an Upper Extremity Certified Lymphedema Therapist (UE-CLT).
She completed her certification in
Manual Lymph Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy (MLD/CDT) with the Academy of Lymphatic Studies.
Beatriz is a C1 Schroth-Barcelona Certified Scoliosis Therapist. She traveled to Barcelona, Spain to train directly with Dr. Manuel Rigo and completed her Schroth Barcelona C1 Certification in the Schroth Method for Scoliosis through the Barcelona School of Physical Therapy for Scoliosis (BSPTS).
